In 1997, Danny acquired the waterfront development which came to be known as Brigadoon Village. Danny's vision for this beautiful property was for it to become not only a home for the property owners, but also a secure, peaceful environment to be enjoyed by family's young and old alike. A guard house was soon constructed, along with a gated entrance and rod iron fencing. An aesthetically pleasing environment was imperative to Danny and as a result, not only the developed portion of Brigadoon Village but also the undeveloped acreage, was beautifully maintained year round. A boat ramp for the families within the community was completed shortly after his acquisition.
The year 2004 brought the completion of the marina adjacent to the waterfront of Brigadoon Village. This marina was developed for those property owners within the community whose homes are offshore or simply just do not want to build a boathouse the boat slips, which are very reasonably priced are just an added amenity to living in this beautiful development.
Shortly after completing the marina, Danny acquired another piece of waterfront property in Colbert County locally known as the Point. the property, which is composed of a restaurant, campground and marina, is a developer's dream. Located within minutes of the new addition to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail this waterfront is obviously the perfect location for condominiums and an expanded, state-of-the-art marina. Knowing how time consuming this project would be, Danny chose to sell the bulk of the remaining property in Brigadoon Village to two of the families who were among the initial investors in the development. The Richardsons and Van Wagnen families will now carry to completion Danny's vision for Brigadoon Village. With the same standard of excellence and commitment to integrity, this breathtaking development can only become an even better investment and place to call home.
